EB2 immigration for Nurses with Advanced degree

For the past couple of years, our office was able to help several nurses with advanced degrees to obtain green cards through EB2.  Since nurse-related occupations fall under Schedule A that do not require a Labor Certification process, and since EB2's priority date is current for most countries, we can file I140 petition + I485 application for green card + I765 application for employment authorization + I131 application for travel permit, all at the same time.  This process usually takes 6-8 months.

Eligible occupations include: Clinical Nurse Instructor, Nurse Practitioner, and Administrative Nurse Director.  It is notable that nurses with advanced degrees in business (MBA) can be offered an Administrative Nurse Director position and thereby benefit from Schedule A + EB2 to apply for a green card.
